A Place We Call Home

A Place We Call Home - Country Cottage Needleworks

I just love the quote on this little piece, so much so that it is the first cross stitch visitors to my home see in the front porch.

The geraniums are doing well. I bought these about three to four years ago and they have not stopped flowering.

They add a lovely touch of all year round colour to greet visitors to our home.

It is mild and sunny at Poldhu Cove.

It is definitely an outdoor day with lots going on in the garden. Elizabeth - John will be pleased to see that the tree tops have been lopped off.

It is amazing what is flowering at the moment.

These rhododendrons should not be flowering until May.

We have two bushes flowering. Look at all these buds waiting to open.

We have roses out as well.

This bush is flowering and still has a rose hip on from last year.

The plants in the garden are so confused.

The birds are busy building nests and the seed in the feeders are having to be restocked twice a day !!!

Very little stitching to report, so many other things have been going on this week. I will leave you with the sunset yesterday. These really are the colours that filled our sky (with no editing).
