Jam and Jerusalem

Poldhu Cove - By The Ladies of Mullion WI

Today was a special day for me. For a long time I have been plucking up courage to go to the weekly meeting of the craft section of our local WI (Women's Institute) and I finally made it !!

I had a very warm welcome and was pleased to find that I knew two ladies there.

All the ladies are very gifted and it was a pleasure to see what they were working on. They are each embroidering a scene from the village to piece together into a large wall hanging.

Can you recognise where the above piece is depicting ? Yes our own dear little cove.

Here are a few more village scenes.

We awoke to a beautiful spring morning with a mist in the valley and the cove.

No stitching today it is too nice to be indoors, this lovely mild weather calls for a walk with Poppy and Blue and some time on the garden.

Who can resist Poppy when she looks at you with those eyes.
