Time quilting

The weekend has flown by, Friday was a very busy day so a lazy start to Saturday with a walk with Poppy and Blue - their favourite as it is mostly off the lead running free.

The afternoon was spent in my sewing studio then dinner at the golf club with dear friends, lots of laughter and too much food.

Sunday I was up with the larks and in the sewing studios in my pjs, I was that keen !! A late morning walk, a little time preparing lunch then my sewing machine was going like the clappers.

The quilt top is not finished, there is another border of triangles but that will be another day.

Thursday found us at Trelissick, a National Trust house and gardens for a performance of Twelfth Night by The Lord Chamberlain's Men an open air theatre company built upon the same principles that Shakespeare himself followed: to present bold, clear and dynamic productions that excite and engage the audience.

They certainly did and the evening was greatly enjoyed by our party helped along the way with hampers stuffed with delicious food and bubbly.

We hope that the company will visit Cornwall again next year.
