And They Sinned Framed and Hung

And They Sinned

I am so pleased ATS has been framed and hung. If you want to stitch this yourself the pattern giveaway will be drawn on Sunday. (the distortion top left is actually the reflection from the staircase hand rail in the glass not the stretching)

It is  a very cold day in Cornwall and we have had to take precautions to protect the less hardy plants. Our garden has lots of plastic snowmen scattered around.

We haven't been able to cover every plant and some have been damaged. You can see that the rhododendrons have discoloured :(:(

The daffodils are unaffected.

The flowers of late winter and early spring occupy places in our hearts well out of proportion to their size - Gertrude Wister.

I have had a walk around the garden checking for frost damage. I love the patterns the frost forms.

I am looking after my son's dogs today so the FIVE (!!) dogs enjoyed a run around with me.

The sun rise this morning was AMAZING and I think goes to prove the saying "red sky at night shepherd's delight, red sky in the morning shepherd's warning"

I will leave you with a thought for this bitterly cold day  - one kind word can warm a winter's day
